Dear Parents,

All second grade students will be in need of certain supplies to help them have a successful year. We ask that their names be placed on everything, as this eliminates questions as to ownership. It would be very helpful if your child has all of these supplies on the first day of school. The second grade supplies are:

1. Four #2 pencils

2. A separate eraser

3. Crayons - 24 to 48 count

4. Scissors

5. White school glue; no glue sticks

6. Three marble composition notebooks - no spirals

7. Three pocket folders (with bottom pockets, not side pockets)

8. 12" Ruler with Metric and English measurements

9. Two yellow highlighters

10. Pencil case or box of normal size

11. One set of addition flash cards to 18

12. One set of subtraction flash cards to 18

We ask that you do not purchase Trapper-Keepers or any other type of loose-leaf notebooks as these do not fit in student tote trays. The children will not need markers or pens. These are suggested supplies. If you cannot provide them, please let us know in September. We look forward to working with your child next year!
