| Three staff members work in the
media center: Mrs. Ennis, a media specialist who is fulltime at JVES;
Mrs. Traub, a media specialist who is at JVES on Thursdays; and Mrs.
Geckle, a media technician who is at Jarrettsville three days each
week. |

Book Circulation Policy |

| Books are checked out each week
during a student's weekly library class on Tuesday through Friday. Books are
NEVER checked out on our rotating special day, Monday. A student's books are
always due the next time he has his weekly library class. |

Renewals |
||

||
| Books may be renewed twice by
bringing them to the weekly library class and requesting a renewal during
check-out time. |

Library Bear |
||
 |
||
| Library Bear visits classes where
everyone returned or renewed their books on their weekly library day. Library
Bear's visit ends when another class earns his time with them or when the
weekly library class occurs, whichever comes first. |

End-of-Year Certificates |

||
| Students who return or renew their
books every time during their weekly media class receive a certificate at the
end of the year. Over 90 students earned a certificate last
year. |
||
