| Congratulations to Mr. Dave Thomas, Principal of North Harford High School. Dave had been principal of Harford Technical High School and was transferred to NHHS effective July 1, 2004. Mr. Thomas, whose children graduated from North Harford High School, is very familiar with the needs and concerns of the parents in the community. Ground was broken for the new high school and grading has commenced. Construction will take place in phases over a course of three years. The new, modernized high school will open in September of 2007. Students who finished the first grade will not be effected by the construction. All other students may face some type of relocation as the construction takes place. It should be noted that as parts of the existing high school are modernized, they will be available for occupancy. Parking for students at the high school while construction is taking place may be none existent. More details will follow as decisions are made. |
